What Offiz needs, where your files go and what it costs. Short answers.
Which Macs does Offiz run on?
A Mac with an Apple chip (M1 or newer) and macOS 13 Ventura or newer.
Do my files leave my Mac?
Not to Offiz: your work stays on your Mac. For each job, your AI service gets the parts of your files that the job needs, the same as when you use it on its own.
Which AI does it use? Do I need a subscription?
Offiz works through your own AI account, so yes, you need a paid plan. When you set it up, Offiz checks your account and tells you if anything is missing.
What does it cost?
Offiz is free during the alpha. You still pay for your own AI plan.
What does "alpha" mean? When can I get it?
Alpha means a small first group uses Offiz and tells us what to fix. We invite people from the waiting list in small groups, and we write to you when your place opens.
Is Offiz only for code?
No. Your teams also do design, writing, research and admin. See one job for each team on How it works.
